Tacos Punta Cabras is a taco joint in Santa Monica, serving fresh seafood tacos, tostadas, cocteles, and agua fresca for lunch and dinner.
Tacos Punta Cabras opened in 2013 by longtime Los Angeles chefs Daniel Snukal and Josh Gil, known for their work with Supper Liberation Front, a consortium of chefs who host crazy underground dinners.
The Baja-style tacos at Tacos Punta Cabras are lightly fried in rice bran oil and ingredients are hand-picked, organic and sustainable whenever possible, as well as non-GMO. In addition to tacos, we serve tostadas and cocteles with fresh seafood, tofu, or cauliflower and our menu includes vegan and gluten-free options. We also have a catering service with our menu items—and more. (Also: Hamburguesas Punta Cabras has opened downtown, selling burgers and fries.)
Punta Cabras translates to Goat Point, a nod to a surf point south of Ensenada in Mexico.
